Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Short version: we only store what's needed to keep you signed in.
1.What cookies and local storage are
Cookies, local storage and session storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. They can be used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, or — on some sites — track you for advertising.
2.What we use
Rechecko uses only strictly necessary browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| rechecko_access_token | Local storage | Keeps you signed in to the Rechecko app. | Until you log out or the session expires |
| rechecko_sidebar_collapsed | Local storage | Remembers whether you collapsed the app sidebar. | Until you clear browser data |
| rechecko_theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. | Until you clear browser data |
| rechecko_session_expired | Session storage | Tells the login page to explain that your session ended. | Removed as soon as the login page reads it |
| rechecko:integration-return-to | Session storage | Returns you to the right page after connecting an ad platform. | Until the tab is closed |
3.Third-party platforms
When you connect Meta, Google or LinkedIn, you sign in on that platform's own website, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. Rechecko does not read or control those cookies.
4.Your choices
You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings. Because everything we store is necessary, blocking it will sign you out and the app may not work correctly.
5.Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies such as analytics, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires. Questions: [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
